Castle Hill Bathroom Renovations exists to connect Hills District homeowners with a builder. Nobody working for this website strips out bathrooms, lays membranes, sets tiles, or does plumbing or electrical jobs. When you enquire, your details go to our partner builder.
Our partner builder
Renovation work arranged through this site is carried out in partnership with Coastal Renovation Group, a licensed NSW builder. Licence and insurance details are provided on request.
It is good practice to get the licence number in writing and search the NSW public register before you commit. A register search tells you who holds the licence, what class it covers, whether it is current, when it expires and whether any disciplinary action has been recorded.
Your quote, your contract and the quality of the finished bathroom are all the builder's responsibility. So are workmanship warranties and, when a job requires it, home building compensation cover.
Limits of what we say
This website makes no claim about the licensing or qualifications of anyone other than the builder named above. Insurance can lapse or change, and we have no ongoing view of it, so request a certificate of currency close to your start date.
Asbestos in older Hills homes
Removing asbestos sits outside what this website arranges as part of a renovation. NSW treats it as separately licensed work for a licensed asbestos removalist, and holding a builder's licence gives no permission to do it.
That distinction matters locally. Plenty of homes in Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill and West Pennant Hills went up before about 1990. Should anyone offer to rip out an older bathroom before a sample has been tested, pause the job and seek independent advice.
Council and strata decisions
Whether a project needs consent is decided by The Hills Shire, Hornsby Shire, the City of Parramatta or an owners corporation, depending on the property. The builder can share what is typically required, but cannot make that call, and neither can we. No promise of approval, or of how quickly it arrives, is made anywhere on this site.
